You must have relevant skills for the state or territory government agency to nominate you or have an eligible relative to sponsor you. The skilled work regional visa holder can work, study and live in a designated region of Australia for five years. You must submit an Expression of Interest. You can apply for permanent residency after three years of stay.

To apply for a skilled work regional visa, you must receive a nomination from the Australian state government or territory government agency. Your eligible relative can sponsor you as well. You must be under 45 with minimum English competency.

  • Have paid back your debt to the Australian government
